STUDENT TESTIMONIALS///

“This summer I stayed in San Marcos and made a pact to myself that I was going to enjoy the city in a way I haven’t before. I checked out the Outdoor Center one day with some friends and we ended up spending 5 hours kayaking down the San Marcos River. I had never been on the river before, so the experience was incredible.”-Iain McMicheal

Junior, Mass Comm major (Katy, TX)

“I had never known that the University even had an outdoor center until I had a class in Jowers this semester. I was waiting on a ride to come pick me up so I went exploring around Sewell. Bikini Hill was packed, so I walked the other way and saw the prices sign outside of the center which left me really interested. I had been renting kayaks from other places around town and it was getting pretty pricey, so to know that I could rent one from them and it was really affordable, I was in. I’ve kayaked down and back the river 5 times since August. I can’t get enough of it!”-Emily Rowell

Senior, Criminal Justice major (Spring, TX)
